Synopsis:
A man and woman stake out celebrities – a Queen, a career-challenged movie star, and a rapper. They enjoy varying degrees of success – but when the really big star comes along, they are not so lucky… Brushes With is a look at our obsession with celebrity.
Cast:
Jeremy - 21
Lori - 45
Third Actor: plays Queen of Denmark, Bernard Kramp, B. Doggy, Enigma
(Note – it is also possible to have separate actors play the Third Actor roles.)
Set:
No set. The five scenes use various locales, over the course of a weekend, Friday to Sunday. Lori carries a camera and maybe a scrapbook or a stuffed doll that she might intend to present to a celebrity. Jeremy has an increasingly wilted bouquet of cheap flowers.
