Carole woke up this morning to a marriage proposal - on the billboard facing her house. She's not against marriage, but first she must find who exactly the proposal is from - and fast. This requires a nocturnal visit to the head office of the Billboard Company... a rundown room in the gritty heart of a city.
Inspired by Edward Hopper's 1940 painting 'Office at Night', Mister In Between is written in noir style. The two actors can make foley sounds themselves or be joined by a third person on stage.
